The XL LabelPro integrated with either the XL200 or XL100 can print and apply labels with human readable text and 1D & 2D barcodes to a variety of microtubes and vials including 96 well SLAS formatted plastic or glass microtubes, cryovials, 2mL glass vials, and 4mL glass vials. Label size will vary depending on the size of the tube or vial, for example, the label size for a 1.4mL tube is 0.4” X 1.3”, and 1.0” X 1.0” for cryovials or 2mL glass vials.

Additional capabilities and features include the following:

  • Re-array, reformat, and sort tubes and vials
  • 2D Barcode reader (optional)

  • Liquid Handling (optional)
  • Capping/De-capping (optional)
  • Up to 28 tube rack capacity for the XL200
  • Up to 18 tube rack capacity for the XL100

Software

Design and layout of labels is accomplished with BioMicroLab's label design software. Labeling functions are embedded in the XL Work List Manager Software which provides the ability to print the same data on all labels, merge variable data on each label, or apply pre-printed labels. Project based workflow allows for easily reprinting and applying commonly run labels.
