ArcticWhite offers two versions of the clear bottom 96 well plate, the standard clear bottom and the single clear well bottom. With a standard clear bottom the black Krystal 96 is used for fluorescence and the white Krystal 96 is used for luminescence in instruments reading from below or above the wells. Both the black and the white polystyrene plates have a 350µL/Well capacity, and are available in standard, high bind, and tissue culture treated formats.

The NO-CROSSTALK Krystal 2000 96 well plate should be used when light crosstalk is important to avoid. The black Krystal 2000 is used for fluorescence and the white Krystal 2000 is used for luminescence in instruments reading from below or above the wells. The NO-CROSSTALK Krystal 2000 is manufactured using a patented process that produces 96 individual clear wells in an opaque matrix – each well has its own individual window! This innovation results in no light cross talk from well to well. The Krystal 2000 plates are available in standard, high bind, and tissue culture treated formats as well as an “automation pack” of 4X20 plates.
